JAXFitness is an Edmonton based fitness consulting and activation company specializing in corporate wellness centres. We work closely with property owners and tenants to create welcoming, accessible fitness spaces that support health, movement and community within the workplace.

Hi, I’m Alex!
I played water polo for over a decade, representing Canada internationally at events such as the FISU World University Games. I hold a BSc in Kinesiology and Sport Studies and a certificate in sustainability. Paired with experience in the bike industry, I have developed a foundation in movement and performance. I use that experience to create a welcoming, personalized environment that helps clients navigate their fitness journey, connect with the right services, and feel confident in their training.
Outside of work, you’ll find me in the gym or in the mountains, where I stay connected to my passion for performance through downhill mountain biking and freestyle skiing.

With a robust background in fitness instruction, I have successfully led groups ranging from 10 to 40 individuals and provided personalized training sessions for clients spanning ages 15 to 95. My expertise includes teaching kickboxing, strength training, and HIIT classes, where I meticulously tailor workouts to accommodate diverse fitness levels and objectives. This experience has sharpened my ability to inspire and motivate groups while ensuring each individual receives targeted guidance to achieve optimal health and fitness outcomes.

I have been teaching yoga for 12 years and love to share this magical practice with the people in my classes. I found yoga shortly after a career change away from the corporate sector. Yoga has helped me find my "Flow State", a state a being where time disappears and nothing else matters but what is happening right at that moment. I love sharing the many styles of yoga I am trained in, from power yoga to relaxing restorative yoga. There is style for everyone.

I have developed a deep appreciation for Pilates and have been teaching for over 10 years. Drawing from a wide range of movement modalities, I weave these influences into my classes to enrich each client’s experience.
My philosophy centers on three key elements: cultivating body awareness, creating alignment, and improving functional movement. By encouraging a deeper sensitivity to subtle movement and breath, I guide clients toward moving with greater ease, strength, and connection in both their practice and daily lives.

Hey! I'm Jaclyn or Jax. I've been working in the Edmonton and Area fitness industry for the past ten years - managing fitness centres, performance coaching a variety of individuals from athletes to seniors, and teaching high energy group fitness classes.
I have developed a strong passion for community and bringing that connection to like minded individuals.
I'm here to teach the Blend on Fridays - a dynamic full body class that combines strength, cardio and power all into one workout.
Fridays are all about shaking out the week, having some fun and heading into the weekend feeling strong and energized!
